David A. Adler: I love this author's historical books and biographies for children. This is a great website for parents and teachers.

Ruth Sanderson: Website from one of my favorite author/illustrators, Ruth Sanderson. I especially love her Twelve Dancing Princesses and The Nativity.
Lemony Snicket: Creative website from a creative author. Includes a page about illustrator Brett Helquist.
Jerry Spinelli: Great writer for independent readers. Excellent website!
Gennady Spirin: Gorgeous website of an absolutely amazing Russian illustrator of children's picture books.
Diane Stanely: This gifted woman has written and illustrated some wonderful picture biograhies and historical books.
Erin Stead: Caldecott Medal Winning illustrator for the picture book "A Sick Day for Amos McGee" (one of my favorites!) You can visit her author/illustrator/husband Phillip Stead's blog here.
Laura Ingalls Wilder: This is a great website: "Frontier Girl", with lots of good links about her life, family, and homes.
