Purpose of this Blog...

You may have noticed that not all books are equal in capturing children's imaginations and in cultivating those innocent, tender souls. My goal is to help you find the ones that do!

  1. I ♥ that Norman Rockwell painting, that's how I feel every morning now (we got our first snow Oct. 30, 2012)...I check out the window to see if it's snowed! There are so many saints between now and Christmas, like St. Martin, St. Lucia, St. Barbara, St. Nicholas...they often seem to merge with the Nativity of Christ.

  2. This is great! I cant wait to go through all of these and get into the holiday spirit!

  3. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic!!! and YAY!! Christmas books!!!

  4. Mom, this is such a great post!! So nice to see everything in one place, but each event/celebration categorized!! It's a shame when these other wonderful Saints and celebrations get forgotten because we're too busy or focused on the worldly part of "Christmas". I'm so glad that we grew up with celebrations of St. Nicholas and St. Lucia, and that we always did lots of activities to learn about the Advent season in our home. Bravo!
